Effortless Writing

When I started writing, that's the goal I wanted to achieve.

To be able to write without breaking any flow, any distraction and put words to paper to create a master piece.

14 yrs ago when I was in High school, I barely got 50% (pretty much equivalent to D grade) in English Language.

If you had told me then, that I'd be able to write like that, write books, articles and people will appreciate what I write. I would have laughed silly at your face.

Today, I appreciate (and enjoy) my ability to write at will. To me, writing is like leaving a mark in this world.

As I look back at October 2004, I feel grateful when I decided to start blogging and stick with internet marketing. I can see how far I have come since then.

Like any other beginner I had my own shares of frustration, countless white screen of death. But then suddenly It started becoming easier. Like my muse had been awakened.

To be able to write at will.

Can you imagine how it'd feel, if you can awaken your muse and write at will at anytime?

You sit in front of your computer and your fingers starts typing, tip, tap, tap, tap, and in 15 minutes, a well polished article is finished, in few hours a nice little report is ready to sell or may be sales copy for the product you are going to promote.

That's the power of effortless writing.

The ability to write will go long way in your internet marketing endeavors. There'll be always time when you have to write a blog post or few articles or may be email your list. This is one skill that's going to serve you - FOREVER.

What's stopping You? How long are you going to wait for it?

Last week, I was talking to a friend from my school years. For some reason, he shared his dream.

He told me, "Varun, One day I'll write this book and make it a best-seller. I've been thinking about this since I was 15".

"So what's stopping you to write one right now?" I asked.

"You are 28 years old, and if you have started writing a page per day since you were 15, you'd have written over 4500 pages so far. If you take an average of 400 page per book, You'd have written 11 books in last 13 years"

11 books, do you believe that? Even if take it conservatively and say that you had written 5 books, chances of making at least 1 best seller would have been very high.

So my question is to you right now is...

"Can you start right now to achieve this dream of yours?"

He frowned, raised his brows and stuttered, "I, I, I really don't know".

The only reason you are hesitating right now is because you are afraid. Afraid of taking the next step in the unknown. And It's scary.

If you want to gain this skill how you should go about it?

Now, the wrong way is to find a short cut. For example, if you try and use some kind of article templates, you'll be able to write articles, but converting that skill into writing an email or blog post or may be a product or a real book is going to be big pain in the ass.

Not only doing this limits your skill but kills your inner eye or creativity. You'll always have to look outside to find new ideas, thoughts and comments.

Now I can imagine why you might want to use short cut like that. You might think that right way is going to be harder and time consuming. But that's far from the truth.

11 months went like nothing. I was blogging every day many times for 11 months before I started noticing. I noticed that one of my blog post was converting at 5% from visitors to buyer.  According to stats I was sending 40 unique visitors to that blog post per day.
