I think of myself as very highly intelligent Guy and still was having troubles with lots of
things in my life…
And then one day it just clicked me.
It was my one of the biggest “Duh” moment. It was happening again and again.. and then for first time in my life… I made it Stopped for once and forever.
Oh before I go on and tell you about the missing ingredient, I wanted to tell you this is 16th newsletter issue. Man I am proud of myself… it takes lot of effort to write newsletter
and I am glad, people reads it and responds to me. ahhh…
You might be wondering why I am going philosphical on you today.Well I think I have gave you enough tips and action planswhich can help you achieve sucess in your Internet Biz.
So today, I decided to talk about somethings which are also important to know.
Anyways, let get back to the topic on hand.
So What are the missing ingredients?
Can you take a guess what is the main point is?… just be a sport and take a guess… No sir, it’s not about taking action.

Well, I suspect if you guessed it right… the missing ingredient is about Perseverance. Yes You read it right, I know lots of people take Action but didn’t preserve through the learning curve.
Let me tell you, Everyone(including myself) have a habit of Popping Pills whenever we are
We are Damn lazy and want a Magic Bullet or Magic pill or Magic wand which can solve all your problems immediately.
Let me tell you.. what happens? Some one picks up a method he or she learnt online.. lets say “making money with blogs by Varun Pratap ;-)”.
She goes ahead and create couple of blogs… try to get some traffic to it and then sees no result..
then in frustration..
she puts her hands up and exclaim. “Heck, Varun is a liar, You can never make money with blogs”.
This blog and ping is not effective.
Why people will read my blog over million of other sites which are proffessionally done and blah blah blah…
See, Now my advice to her is. Preserve through this learning curve.
Take a fall and then You’ll learn How to fly.
Do you know when a mother bird is teacher her kids How to fly? She throws them out of their nest and let them take a Fall…
Kids fell, fell and then try,. try some more… they know, if they don’t learn it.. they’ll end up on earth soon and probably dead too…
And then just before they are about the touch the rock hard floor. They are able to use their wings and get out of the situation. Of course they can’t fly as well as mother bird. But this is their first lesson of Learning How to fly.
So my question is.. Did you take that lesson in Learning How to fly?
Let me repeat the lesson in Internet Marketing terms.
1. You take your pick to make money . You take a method and a guru to follow.
2. You start with your first fall… You know, if you don’t get this done.. Your business dreams will probably End here.
3. You try to fly and fail.. You know, if you stop here, Your business will fail.. what do you do? You try to improve the formula the GURU taught you.
4. Again it fails. You know deep down in your heart, You want to fly and not end up on floor. You evaluate where you are going wrong. and again alter your method a bit.
5. You are very close to the Rock hard floor. You know, this is the end, You put everything into it and then whoooshhh… you fly… Damn. You are making some money on internet marketing. You realize you can make money.
6. You look into your methods on flying and them improve your method and try to generate more revenue from your business.
7. Now all you need to watch out from those nasty Hawks (Your fears, negative emotions, negative peoples) and you know you’ll be flying towards that beautiful horizon.
So tell me which step you stopped? Do you want to end up on floor or want to learn how to fly?
Let me tell you. I started with blogs about 2 years ago.. and first 13 months I was losing money(I was spending more then making). then Everything clicked… I learnt how to fly…

How to make 1000 USD in next 24 hrs.You know How often I see this in forums … Well normally people ask How they can generate 1000 USD in a week or so..
But I thought for a second “I can make easily 1000 USD in a week, What If I up the ante and Try to make it in 24 hrs”
How can I make it?
I thought for a while.. and Ruled out Affiliate business Model Well I am not sharp enough to put 1000s of keywords and then build adwords campaigns around it to sell product… NOPE… it’s not my strong point..
Well So I thought a lot more. What Can I do?
Well I can write 20-30 page POWERFUL Ebook and sell it.. Yeah…
Last ebook I sold I created that ebook in 45 minutes and 3 hrs in Proof reading.
And I made 200$ in first 4 hours of making that book live.
So I thought If I create a book and Sell its MASTER RIGHTS to some other marketer for over 1000 USD. I might need to contact 15-20 or more names with the book.
Well 1000 USD is good deal if he’s going to make money off it for ever?? If someone Balks at this rate.. Then you might need to find 2 people whom you can sell it for 500$ each(just let them know).
Even for 500$ I’d say they are getting cheap deal…
But the condition is to generate 1000 USD in 24 hrs.. This is the
And the best thing is I’ve Done this thing many times(not with ebook but with other some methods I used over the last year).
Last year when I need 500$ to buy couple of big products I used some of my own crazy ideas to create 500$ in less than 24 hrs.
Well I am writing down a small Book on just this topic…

He’s one guy I like to read because he’s different than all of the Marketers you’ll see preaching things out there.. Just read one of his simple steps to success Oh BtW. 7 Steps to Becoming Wealthy As A Copywriter or Marketing Consultant — FAST!
1. Stop thinking like a copywriter (probably tick a lot of people off with that — but in my opinion, that’s the most limiting “belief” in the market today)
2. Network like a maniac
3. Eliminate the negative people from your life
4. Find mentors who have REALLY done what you want to do
5. Get offline – fast
the opportunities for working “OFFLINE” with mainline businesses are abundant. I talked about this on John Ritskowitz’s “Million Dollar Marketing Roundtable” call the other night. (get that recording)
We get “stuff” in our email boxes every day on these “outside the norm” business-building systems, strategies and tactics. The average bear isn’t inundated with this information offline.
Heck… most of them don’t even know it exists! Most of them don’t even know what a “COPYWRITER” is or does.

7. Get beyond “FEES??
The worst thing you can do is think of yourself in limiting terms. (see also #1)
If you’re writing copy for a “fee” — then you’re just selling your hours for dollars. Just like the guy who works at the burger stand down the street (no slight intended).
Yeah, you’re getting paid more… but you still limit yourself to either (a) work so many hours till you drop, or (b) raise your fees. Not a bad idea! But still (in my opinion) limiting!
I STRONGLY recommend fees PLUS… arrangements (in some cases foregoing fees completely — but the deal has to be right — you can waste your time or get your booty in a sling quick if the deal is bad.)
Example: One client… one client of mine will pay me around $75,000.00 in “performance bonus” this year — on top of my set monthly fees. Now, I gotta produce — but wouldn’t that motivate you?
Now, I’m not for hire as a copywriter — but the rules still apply.
Example: I spoke with a copywriter buddy last week (I don’t think he’ll mind me telling this). He’s getting a decent 4-figure monthly retainer… plus a % of the gross. (BTW, the scope of his work has gone beyond copywriting recently)
The opportunities are out there — you just gotta take the caps off.

Edit : O Boy, Aren’t I an Big Idiot… I was thinking of writing why I’d prefer Mr Maroney advice over so many folks in internet but didn’t add in my earlier post.
You know he doesn’t frequent many forums but he’s helping Moderate the copywriting forum by Michael fortin.
Anyways I have noticed that he has this uncanny ability to get attention. He writes headlines in forums which I think are pretty reveting stuff… Though he’s not a copywriter for hire but he’s into Business consultancy and Speaking.
With my small experience of busies (Offline and Online both), I have felt that his advice was always spot on. Plus if I had gotten that kind of advice earlier on, I would have saved my last business. cheh… doesn’t matter. I have a successful business now…
What I meant to say is.. Mr Maroney is really good. If you are not listening to him, You are a missing a lot.
