A fast warning on latest wordpress update
If you are thinking of updating your wordpress blog, then I suggest you to wait for a while. I recently updated my blogs with wordpress 2.6 and encountered one problem after another. I tried everything these guys suggested without any results.
2 of My main problems were
1. white screen after login – I can’t login to my dashboard.
2. Permalink structure effected: one of my blogs permalink structure is effected badly. I am getting 404 error for articles, archives, pages.
My only solution so far was to revert back to 2,5.1. My suggestion is to wait for a while and then upgrade.

this sucks….404s everywhere.
I have been using it without any problems, but saying that I have heard a few mention these problems
Yes it had been rectified in later updates. Still my advice for latest updates is that… DON”T JUMP ON IT as soon as they come out… wait for few days first and see the reaction…
How soon will you update your blog? I’m interested in reading some more information on this issue.

It could happened because of the program itself. You might want to reinstall the program. Most of the time this happenes because of the corupted files. Just reinsta the program and see what happens.
