How to create knock out products and charge High Prices?
If you have been following my blog, then you know the easiest way to make an income online is by creating your own product. So today, in this post I am going to talk about few important things you should remember while creating your own products.
Start Small -> You might be surprised how many people start with a plan of 300 pages of book, few audios and may be some complementary videos. Arghh….
My first product for 20 page ebook (actually it was 17 page content plus 3 page of index, copyright and title page). It took me few hours to write and edit the product.
I was nervous when I started promoting about the response. People who bought absolutely loved it and I received compliments and testimonials from all over the world (including few of top name guru’s).
Create a 20 page ebook this week and start selling it. Soon you’ll want to add more content, in couple of months, that same 20 page ebook will turn out into 100+ pages, few audios and video product.
More products you have, better your product catalog will be and you’ll be able to charge higher price. Now this rule is not written in stone. You can always break rules.
But understand, as you start creating small, your confidence will grow and you’ll be soon creating high priced products.
How to charge High prices -> There are simple 2 ways to charge high price.
1. Find a completely new way to do things and charge High price for the information. Now this doesn’t happen very often with information products. The moment you publish an info product, you’ll find few copy cats selling the same darn thing.
The simplest example can be taken from softwares which does specific functions. For example, currently there are membership sites which submit your articles, audio, videos all over the web automatically. And they charge good money for these memberships.
They give you either buy their service or do it yourself options. That’s it.
2. You compile a product with a Audio, Video, Bookset etc and it’ll automatically increase the price point. Have you ever noticed how marketers who have 1000 dollar products carry 20 DVD’s few book cases weighing 10–20 pounds? The weight is there for a reason.
High price is about confidence -> You might be surprised with this statement, but it’s very much true. If you have confidence in your products (and your marketing skills), you’ll have no problem with asking for high price.

Article Writing – Turn Articles Into Ebooks and get paid
If you can write a 300 word article, you can write an e-book and start selling your own products. I have written a lot about
creating your own products and how profitable they are.
There are some brave people who attempt to write an e-book but they get scared by enormous task. And they never finish it.
For those people, you have to remind them, e-book is just a compilation of many articles. You are not writing 300 + page to
become Jane Austen or Another JK Rowling.
Here’s what I want you to do.
1. Write an Article everyday for next 30 days. The size of the article does not matter.
2. Focus your articles on a Key point. I.e. “how to lose weight with dumb-bells”.
3. After 30 days compile all of your articles and edit them to make it look like an ebook.
4. Add more content where you think you should add and make sure your content is Good enough to sell.
5. Make Your first E-book Available for Free. And then start writing another ebook.
Now I know you can understand the first 4 steps easily. But Why You should make your ebook avaliable for free?
My Idea doesn’t have anything to do with “Moving the FREE Line” but more of practical reason. When you are learning to write, you’ll make many mistakes and these mistakes will make you look like amateur. While you are writing your first book. Just let it go and make it free.
You’ll learn A HECK a lot any marketer or product can teach you about writing. With second book, you’ll be able to see your writing skills shine. Now remember the last step is just a recommendation. If you want to make it a paid product. It’s all fine. It’s not like it’s a rule you have to follow. So Get on with it.
Now All of this started from just writing a 300 word article. And I tend to write 8–10 articles in one sitting. Can you imagine how many days it’ll take me to finish a e-book with this method? About 3 days. Now I am not bragging but I have finished e-books faster than this.
Building a New Income Stream Everyday in Less than 3 hrs.
A simple Question : – What it takes to create a new Income stream?
A simple Answer :– Sell something that’s already selling.
If I have to tell you, that you can build 20–30 new income stream in next 30 days, would you believe it?
I bet you wouldn’t. But Let just suspend this belief for a moment.
Believe you can do it. Imagine How it’d change your life?
And this is exactly what I am going to show you here. If you’ve been looking at online marketing for some time, then I believe you already have all the most important resources (i.e. Aweber’s list building services, domain, hosting etc).
And you are not going to spend a pretty much a single penny if you already have all the above resources.
When I talked about Income stream, the biggest clue or Idea for you to latch on is by creating product.
Personally I can write a report in couple of hours and get it ready to sell in less than 3 hrs. But I know, not everybody is like me and can type really fast.
So I am going for the next best option. PLR (private label Rights) Products. Now Before you roll your eyes and get angry, listen to me. There are quite a good lot of PLR products out there which can be sold for pretty penny.
Now the biggest everyone makes with these products is that they try to sell it as it is.
What I want you to do what nobody else is doing it (besides me, I guess).
And the thing is called “A little work”. Yup, you are going to work a little. 
Anyways, what I want you to do is,
1. Clean up the PLR Document you have, completely. Remove the titles page and everything useless.
2. Remove All the Un-necessary Junk from the document. This here have to be done carefully. Most of the PLR stuff have WAY TOO MUCH FLUFF. For example, if I have an internet marketing document, it’d start from 1980’s describing how internet came to be and how it all started. (now of course I am exaggerating but not by much).
3. Turn a 100 page document into 30–40 page Report. Make it Succinct, Short, To the point. You get my point right?
Total Time Spent So Far – 30 minutes From My Experience (It helps if you know the topic).
4. Write a New sales letter (You don’t need a 20 page monster letter for this). A single page or two will do wonder for you.
5. No need for graphics, Plain words will do wonders. (With new FTC regulations, you’ll be hard pressed to utilize more of the testimonials, but you can still do a damned good job).
6. Charge a fair price. (Now here’s the thing about reports, Depending on information, reports can get you good price. I have seen 10 page report being sold for $97. Though chances are very for PLR stuff to get that much but you get the idea.)
Total Time Spent So Far – 1 hr, 15 minutes at max (30 – 45 minutes on the sales letter etc).
7. Get Traffic, Build a List. This I’ll talk about later (otherwise just do a search on my blog or check the category “Increase Web Site Traffic”
Rest of time – SPEND IT ON BRINGING TRAFFIC.
Now, I know from experience first 3 steps don’t take more than half an hour to do it right. And I”d spend most of my time getting traffic to that page. If you create 8–10 of these reports and bring enough traffic, You’d be able to sell few reports per day.
For example – $10 per report and 4–5 sales per day is going bring you a neat $1500 a month. It completely depends on how hard you promote them. I’ll be talking about getting traffic in my next post.
