Why You should Ignore Search Engines?
Not even a week ago, I wrote a post about the importance of basics of SEO writing and Blog SEO. And today I am going to make a small post about why You should ignore search engines.
Before I do, let me say it again, You should learn Search engine optimization and implement good seo tactics.
I am telling you to ignore seach engines because it’ll be easy and less stressful to keep track of it all.
You see, I was just noticing few of my own blogs and I noticed a simple trend in almost every single one of them.
Most of my blog were getting loads of traffic from Yahoo and MSN and almost nothing from google. And recently it completely switched up and I am getting all my traffic from google and almost nothing from Yahoo/MSN.
Search engine are always updating their algorithms, they are always making minor changes. And chances are you’ll see the massive effect on your website once a few month. It’ll often settle down in upcoming months. If you keep stressing over them, you are playing right into their hands.
Let people who have full time job to follow Serps do that. Your complete focus should be on the topic of converting your visitors into customers and then into long term relationships. SERPs will not make you money but your customers and relationship will.
That’s one of the reason, I do not target any of the serps. Yes, I do follow basic tenets of seo. And you should too. Don’t forget the reason why you got into online business.
My Secret Behind High Speed Writing.
Today I am going to unleash a powerful writing secret on you. If you are reading this, then chances are in next 2–3 months, you’ll turn out to become a powerful writer.
If someone like me who scored 48% in English in high school can write faster, then anyone can.
It all started in year 2000. I bought my first pc in oct sept 27 and got connected to internet. That was my starting point, where I changed and become a writer. Heck I didn’t realized this till 2004.
Are you wondering how it happened?
Well the secret is “Forums”. Yes, forums.
Participating in forums will just get your writing juices flowing. First you’ll participate in flame worthy threads and soon with some experience you’ll become a accomplished writer.
When people participate in discussion, they brain goes out and starts giving them results. This is a skill that you need to develop if you want to write.
Another thing about forums is, you tend to get into ego-fights (or flame wars). It often happens if someone says really flaming comments about some of your belief (HA.. often it starts with “You are stupid, you don’t know anything” LOL).
Anyways People communicate and ask questions in forum. All of this will going to help you improve your writing ability. You don’t have to think about Introduction -> body content– Conclusion to write a comment.
Blogs are 2nd best but they don’t give you any material to get your juices flowing. You have to come up with content ideas on your own. That’s why I am rating them at No 2.
NOTE: Avoid forums if you want to succeed in online business. That’s because it wastes heck a lot of time and it’s addictive. We tend to create relationship with peoples from all over the world, whom we never met. Often we just go there to see who’s posting.
This is fun way to learn how to write. Chances of you getting addicted to a forum is very high.
Writing is all about flowing from one coherent thought to another and putting it on paper. The more you write, the better you’ll get. No matter where you show off your writing prowess.
Along with this method, you can get my Article writing manual to learn how to write. I clock around 7–8 minutes for 300 word article using this. Its a matter of practice.
SEO Writing – Will you get slapped around silly by Search engines with this seo technique?
In my consultations, I’ve noticed people do have some sort of paranoia when it comes to SEO-ing their content. Frankly speaking, I wasn’t that surprised to see this as google has been known to slap around Website owners with it’s constant changing algorithms.
So should you give up on this Or be ready to take the bull by horns?
Now if you’ve been reading any of my blog posts/articles on SEO, you know how much I favor doing the basics (Title, h1, description tags etc). When it comes to give a little boost to my rankings with some carefully planned articles, then I think it’s worth spending your time.
Let’s differentiate what You should do differently than people who get slapped by google.
1. Manipulate or not? That is the question – Understand, when you are writing an article on any keyword, you are trying to manipulate Search engines in one form or another. The people who got slapped silly were the ones who took this manipulation to the extreme.
2. Think about the visitors First – Even if you are writing an article to attract search engine traffic. ALWAYS write an article from a reader’s perspective. It’ll not only hurt your conversion but also work against you as the content will not be of higher quality.
3. What does Google actual wants – Now if you are searching for something on google, what does it actually wants to serve you? Google wants to give you as close to content you are looking for. So if you somehow manipulate your rankings and do not provide the right content match, then chances of losing the rankings are very high.
When you start writing with keeping in mind about your main goal (Visitors First, Best Content Match for google and then add writing for search engines). You’ll get good results.
It’ll always be challenge to write an article which also boosts your rankings. But Our so called SEO writers have made it too hard.
When you are looking to write an SEO article then follow these steps
1. First write an article for visitors.
2. Sprinkle some keywords related to your topic.
3. Read your article out loud to see if your article jumps around or not.
4. Write your article headline after you’ve finished with the article.
5. Do not go overboard with adding keywords into your articles.

Article Writing Tips – My Power Secrets Makes You Write Faster, Better and Efficeint
am going to share my power writing secrets that’ll turn you into article writing machine. You better print this article out and start writing articles. These techniques works and I know from my own experience and others who I’ve taught.
You’d notice most of the stuff I am giving you today does not contain stuff like title, body content, conclusion. And it’s simple. Writing is more than just taking a template and copying it.
1. Write everyday - One of the secret behind writing is to “write everyday”. It gets your gear moving. And writing daily keeps your mental muscle in working condition. I don’t care what you write about. It can be blog, email or an article.
If you want to Write regularly then you need Ideas coming out of your head everyday.
2. Brain storm a session - Fast writing will need lots of ideas. It’d help you if you brain storm before every session. Do not Check your email, log on to forums or read blogs during that time. Treat your Brainstorming session as a sacred routine.
3. Fix a time – Fix a time to write. I like to do all of my writing early in the morning. And I do it in one (or two) sittings. It helps create and build a habit. The moment you sit down on your special writing chair in your special writing suit with special pen. You’ll feel different.
Again, no interruptions in this process. Interruptions will disturb your concentration and make you lose your thoughts and ideas. Bad mean things they are.
4. Write in Bulk - Another thing is to write many articles in one sitting, preferbally in the same market.
5. Commit a challenge - Recently I started a challenge to write 100 articles in 30 days. That comes down to 3 articles per day. But I suggested to write 10 articles (for myself). So far I’ve finished 41 articles in 5 days (a little late on schedule I know). But it’s fun though.
To top it off, I clocked 7 minutes 56 seconds for a 300 word article. Isn’t that impressive? If your goal is to write 100% unique, high quality content then click here http://write-articles.imbasics.com
Building a Regular Traffic Stream to your website
There’s a myth about Building residual income online. People believe they don’t have to do anything and they’ll get checks while they sleep.
But the truth is building residual income takes time, effort, patience and eperience.
And in today’s blog post, I am going to share my philosophy about building traffic to help you with residual income.
Btw, If you haven’t read my earlier post about creating new income stream daily, then do it so.
My Traffic Philosophy.
Have you ever taken a time to think, how one traffic tactic differs from others? or the effectiveness of few tactics over others?
When I spent lots of time understanding how to get traffic to my websites. I started to build a philosophy by which now I do every single thing.
“Create traffic procedures which brings traffic without
any of your constant interference”.
Now imagine, if you can create a procedure which after you implement, you start getting traffic and you don’t have to interrupt anything.
What this does is free a lot of your time and effort which you can spend it on making more effort to get more sales, deals with Joint ventures etc.
If I have to take an example of this kind of traffic tactic, then there’s only one thing that comes to my mind.
Pay Per Click -
This is no other perfect way to explain my philosophy. Once you’ve set up a campaign, you start getting traffic. You don’t have to spend a LOT of time worrying about traffic and other stuff.
Of course there’s no such thing as pure “no interruption” traffic. But this one comes a lot closer. You check your stats once a day and then think about converting visitors to sales etc.
Now my biggest goal is to create hands off traffic system and most of them can be easily done if you are ready to delegate some of your workload.
For another example, lets take article marketing.
If you write 30 articles and set them to publish and promote for next 30 days. You have semi-hands off method to get traffic.
Instead of thinking how to get traffic, think “how to create procedures to get hands off traffic”. This is going to help you in long run.
Do You recognize these SEO mistakes bloggers make?
Recently I had a chance to do a review for a blog. This blog was getting decent traffic (about 200 unique per day) and I believed that it had potential to get great traffic and monetize it.
So I got deep into the blog and started noticing a small trend about this blog.
This blog was not optimized properly. I told the owner about it and his response.
Gasp!!! HOW it can be?
Even when the blog had the SEO plugin and All the secret SEO blog techniques (a bit sarcasm here) applied properly.
So I took a few of his post and started showing him the Basics of SEO.
The Big issues with bloggers is that they have 2 beliefs
1. The more content I write, the better it’s for the blog.
2. The more frequent I write, the better it is.
While they are not wrong. But when you start blogging in this manner, you are all over the place without any focus.
Remember, Drip by Drip, A water can break any solid rock. It’s all about focus.
Here are The Universal Basics of SEO techniques.
1. Title Meta Tags of the Blog.
2. Description Meta tags
3. Keywords Meta Tags
4. H1 Meta Tag
5. Back Links.
Keywords Meta tags
We are starting with Keyword meta tags, because keywords are going to be bread and butter source for the SEO. If you are optimizing for the wrong keyword, you are pretty much screwing up yourself.
With bloggers, when we get an idea to write about something, we tend to write like a man possessed. And in turn forgets about SEO and keywords.
It’s not bad about forgetting, so far, you end up using right keywords. After writing the post, Do a keyword research and update your blog elements.
Title, Description Meta Tags and H1 tags.
You’d be surprised to see how many bloggers make this mistake. Often The title of your blog post is taken as title by all the SEO plugins. Which in itself can be bad. I use “All In ONE SEO” and Update title and description tags so that the information is good, focussed and inviting.
H1 tags can be utilized by your Blog’s Style Sheet and you can make your title’s stylized or aligned with your blog design. It’s not that hard.
Back links
Now With the latest web 2.0 technologies, the idea of back links lost its luster. People (SEO guys) are not talking about them at all. Of course who’d talk about the most boring SEO technique when you can talk about web 2.0 and get paid handsomely for doing nothing at all.
I still believe (and I’ve tested it on my own sites) that getting back links is still the best way to boost your natural rankings in search engines.
Now all of these Basic SEO techniques make look deceptively simple but they are still powerful. Why not just go through your blog and start making few of the changes and notice the results of your traffic for couple of weeks. I guarantee you, the results will make you excited.
Let’s set an Intention To write.
About 3 – 4 years ago, I chanced upon this book “Hypnotic Writing” by Joe Vitale. At that time, it was being sold for 39.95 I think. This single book changed the way I write. In fact I dare say, Only one advice changed my writing. (right now this book is sold in paperback in amazon, there’s no more ebook version).
Advice – Before you write – Set an Intention.
Joe’s advice was very simple. Before you sit down in front of your computer, you set an intention. The moment you set an intention, your mind start providing you with the information on what to write, how to write.
Just this creates an overflow of information in your mind and you have no way other than writing to let it out.
Since learning this lesson, I’ve used this advice in almost every situation where I have to write. In last 3–4 years I have yet to find this writer’s nightmare so called “White screen of death”.
I highly Recommend you to get a copy of Hypnotic writing from amazon.com
SIDE NOTE : Are you following on 100 articles challenge?
Article marketing is biggest load of Bull^%
As you know, that I am huge proponent of article marketing.
And whenever I recommend it, people often email me and tell me
how it doesn’t work.
And to their surprise I often agree with them.
Why? Because I know with so many writers out there, the artilce
directories have become overloaded.
Even the so called mighty ezinearticles.com doesn’t give you
good results. Let’s just not talk about rest of them.
Of course a lot of this has to do with what you write and
how you write.
And the worse thing about this is “anyone can write an
article”. The momemnt such crowd enters into arena, it becomes
hard to breathe and produce results.
So the only thing you can do is “work smarter than them”. And
that’s good for you. Because you let others fight for low
hanging fruits. You have an option to go beyond.
And this is where I can help you.
In next 7 days eclass, I am going to take from pure basics of
writing an article to make you understand what makes your
articles stick.
For next 7 days, you can ask me any questions that’ll help you
with article writing/marketing.
Plus I’ll give you an extra 7 days to ask me any questions about

100 Article Challenge
100 article challenge.
Right Now it’s 4 PM sunday and a thought came to my mind. Something that can help you build your website, your products and web traffic. On Nov 25,2009 I clocked my article writing speed at 300 words at 7 minutes 55 seconds. I know it’s surprisingly high speed and now you know it can be done.
I am calling this 100 Article Challenge.
The challenge is very simple. You are going to write 100 articles for your website (niche). It doesn’t matter in how many days you can do it. It’d great if you finish is as soon as possible.
With 100 articles written, you have content to promote for your website for next 3 months and 10 days. You can write 10 articles a day and finish this challenge in 10 days. You don’t have to worry about content and what to promote for next 3 months.
You can submit 1 article per day for 100 days (imagine how much it’ll help boost your traffic)
You can put together a few articles and create a PDF ebook to give away to your subscribers and build a list
You can expand few concepts taken from articles and create small reports (sellable at $10 – $30)
There are so many ways you can use these 100 articles.
You have 30 days to finish this challenge.

UPDATE : Right now it’s 7 pm, and I decided to write few articles after making this challenge. I didn’t cared about how many words I am going to write and ended up 5 articles with varying length. I’ll start posting these articles (and promoting by morning).
Are you going to pull up your sleeves and take this challenge?
My 3 Simple tips to get FREE traffic
Traffic building is sore spot for many marketers. People are spending thousands of dollars just to learn how they can increase web site traffic and profit from it.
Often I am surprised at the stuff (how to get traffic) people are buying these days. Internet marketers sure have made it complicated. So what do people like You and me have to do?
I am going to share 3 of my simplest strategies which you can work right now as you finish this article. There’s no complicated Link building plans to remember, No complicated farming techniques, pure simplicity.
REMEMBER : Traffic is all about building momentum and continuing it. The more you work on building traffic, better your results will be.
So Here we go.
1. Article Writing – I am surprised how many people miss the fact that this thing works. If you notice at the top article directories (like www.ezinearticles.com), people start off with gusto but later on they lose the fizzle.
Article writing is all about content and lots of content. You should at least submit articles for first 4–6 months everyday. Only then you’ll be able to see some good results.
If you think this will take time, you are half right. I often see the difference in my traffic in 7 days. Chances are you’ll see same are very high. Provided you are working on it everyday.
Do not burn yourself trying to submit many articles per day. 1 article per day is good enough to generate a momentum.
2. Blog comments – I highly recommend you to create your own blog and start posting comments on other bloggers. Do not spam. You’ll be surprised how many people will come to your website/blog from these comments. I still get visitors from comments I left few years ago. That’s how good it is.
Again, providing and adding to the discussion of the blog will help you. If you spam, you’ll be pretty much blacklisted in no time. Often bloggers do not have patience with comment spammers.
Get into habit of daily leaving comments on high traffic blogs.
3. Answers/Groups/Forums – These are few places where people go to get answers to their problems. You should take your time out and answer few questions a day. It’ll take some time but you’ll start getting results from this in 8–10 days. BTW, DO NOT SPAM.
Again do not forget about building momentum and keeping it.
From my calculation and experience, it’d not take more than 1 hr per day to follow the above 3 tips and start getting traffic in 7 days. You’ll probably double your traffic in 30 days.
If you noticed, I haven’t touched web 2.0 at all. Why? because even with all the hype it’s not necessary to follow the crowd to get traffic.
Like I said, simplicity will win over complication in 95% of scenarios.
