Why High IQ guys Lose in Internet Marketing
Do You believe if I told you, being intelligent doesn’t matter in business?
You know I was reading Dr Mani’s blog post on Intelligent vs Wise.. Now this topic is pretty darn close to me. As I was quite low IQ (dumb stupid) guy. I was the guy who slammed his head on the walls cuz it took me few days to understand a dumb joke.
According to Dr Mani
‘Intelligence’ implies innate ability or potential. However, it does not guarantee performance. That’s a limitation of the scope of application of I.Q. test results.
Applied ‘intelligence’ results in wisdom and experience. And in the real world, that is more valuable - just as results will always outweigh promise or projections
And this is what exactly I believe in… You see I have ADD, and When I was kid, ADD wasn’t very common term. So people just thought I was naturally dumb.
For first 8 years of schooling I had hell lot of problem putting together a structured content(writing essays/answers) in english. Heck I still have that problem. It didn’t stopped me becoming the guy I am today.
It didn’t stopped me from starting my own business when I was 18. Though I have to say, It was hard for me initially. I was slow dumb guy (low IQ)for first 14 yrs. In 15 yr (in my 10th standard) I took the bull by horn ;). I did everything I could to make myself more smart, intelligent (so to speak).
In next few years I learnt NLP, hypnosis and everything under the sun to become better than normal people…Right now I can read more than 5 times than your average person. I rarely have to read anything twice. I can write articles faster than most people 
Frankly speaking It doesn’t matter where you lie on intelligence scale… Nature doesn’t work that way. It all comes down to what you learn from your experience. When I was kid I decided I will not be the loser. There was one quote from the book “You can Win” by Shiv Khera. I am paraphrasing it.
Losers are part of the question or creator of the problem… Winners are part of the answer or creator of solution.
Now you can chose where you want to be… Do you want to be part of problem or solution?
I am proud guy who believe he have answer to everything, every question. Everything came down to just one fact… I didn’t wanted to be the same.
Now What High IQ guys have to lose?
Frankly speaking people with too much intelligent are too proud to be wrong… They just can’t stand themselves being wrong… This is where they’ll always lose. Because they’ll stagnate their growth.
You can be either growing or dying… Not both at same time… So if you are not growing, guess what… you are dying…
Another possible problem that High IQ guys have is “paralysis analysis”. They are stuck too much with possible solutions… As they hate to be wrong… it’ll be hard for them to take that first step…
Whereas Slow guys often take the idea and run with it. Because that’s the best thing they can do…. In fact that’s the ONLY BEST thing slow guys should do… Take an idea and run with it. If you are proven wrong, well you’ll still remain a slow guy… if it works… darn you are genius.
Again In last 10 days, I gave you ideas and process for affiliate marketing, Internet marketing strategies with your own products and creating web site traffic. They are all proven ideas that I have worked together… nothing so smart or intelligent about them… They are pretty darn boring and basic. But They Work. Works like any $1000 product out there..
Are you angry at something today?
I was going through one of my bookmarks and read this amazing article by Chris Shugart at t-nation.com. If you don’t know Chris, he is Editor, Trainer & former fat boy at T-nation. According to him, unless you are unhappy or rather pissed at yourself for being Fat, Broke (or enter any of your condition) you won’t make progress to succeed. Happy, lucky people don’t change the world.

I realized this to be true in my cases and other people who succeed in life. In fact you can even conclude this to be true in Internet Marketing too. If you read biography of all the major players on internet marketing(Remember John Reese anyone?). Everything clicked for them when they said “Its enough” and went on to create massive wealth.
According to Pheonix theory There are 4 stages
Stage #1: A traumatic event leading to a sudden realization and awakening
Stage #2: Anger and a firm decision to change.
Stage #3: The physical transformation itself
Stage #4: Continued progress fueled by fear of regression.
If I follow my own life completely then I can find these 4 stages at various time lines in my life. Often the result was massive success. That includes becoming an ace programmer, losing fat, succeeding in online business and other areas.

There is No Failure in Trying…
I was reading Derek Gehl’s Blog on Marketing Tips. On his blog There is an article written by Jenn Blanchard about 7 topics for a killer viral eBook
Of course she makes great points on writing a killer viral ebook. But a reader on the blog made a really negative comment
If I had valuable information, or if I had the contacts in an industry that you mentioned, I would not be reading your ad in search of a good part-time business. Information on the internet has always been free; that’s why so many people use the net.
When I read that… I wondered how many people must have thought the same way. I responded to that post (which you can read but I’ll copy and paste it here, don’t you worry).
My Comment:
Although this is good advice but I think people reading James snow comment might feel discouraged. as He said, he doesn’t have any connections or info.
But anyways there is no certainty in viral marketing. You have to implement these kinds of methods many time to get that 1 lucky shot that’ll bring you tons of traffic. If your ebook doesn’t get viral. Try once again. If that fails too, try again.
You never fail if you try.. You’ll learn more about getting traffic. There is No Failure in Trying.
Now this is true for all the businesses, in education, in life. You’ll never exactly fail while trying. Failure is a learning process. Don’t forget You’ll fell many times before learning how to stand. Today walking is automatic process for you. If you had stopped trying before you learnt standing… You’d be spending rest of your life on your asses.

and so on…
If I was working on this idea, I’d have tried any of the above tip and created a viral ebook. If somehow I failed, I would contemplate what exactly went wrong and try again. In fact I’d have tried all the above methods of write viral ebooks before just signing these ideas as useless.
In fact I’d have researched my own why some people can cause tons of viral traffic. If you notice there are few factors that makes it happen.
Often content is one of the main reasons of making things viral.
- Notice all the people who make things happen in your industry.
- Notice How they are doing things.
- Model their behaviour and repeat success (I said model not copy)
If you are reader of my blog, then you know I advocate lot of Hard work and Then Expectation to succeed.

Why Having a Pretty Face can give you income raise?
I was reading few of the articles in my local magazine. Often times I see this article or discussion about how pretty face can help you getting that increment or that special privileges that you wanted.
Kind of sick when we are talking about equality and stuff… Where do we without pretty face can go?
I gotta agree with that too… there are more than just a few times when I chose my girl friend based completely on how she looked. In fact I can bet you have made some of these decisions based on how other person looked.
But there are few things you can do….
Do You Deserve it?
First impression or How you are being perceived by another person is very important for you in social life and in professional lie. We do judge people from our first impression. Of course sometimes they help, sometimes they don’t.
People have this unconscious hierarchy they follow. They allow some people to lead their lives and they’ll stone others to death. Its all about how you present yourself.
It takes lot of discipline and conscious thought process to avoid these kind of impression disasters. That’s why Only very few people succeed.

Day 19: Marketing is Not Linear
Today you aren’t going to get much things to do… Rather I want you to read this article and ponder over it for a while…
I am writing today’s article after wondering about few things, There are too many 30 day challenges, 33 days of profits, $1000+ systems giving you a process. But why still people are having problems?
Well taking action is one we know… that’s for sure… But what about who take action??
There are few good hardworking souls left who take action on what they learn? I did, I did it for 13 months when I started out… Then why didn’t I succeed if the system was good and sound.
Did the “Guru’s” gave me the wrong system? Well I can blame them, but I don’t. I believe they gave me sound systems, techniques and methods to work with.
Well after thinking over months and reading tons and tons I come to this conclusion…
Marketing Is NOT linear
Though I am providing you with a step by step process, but I believe marketing is not a linear system, in fact any system or art can never be linear. I learnt this the hard way while I was a trainer for Fitness & Self Defense.
The same ABCD or 1234 method which I used to get fit or defend myself can’t be taught to everyone in same manner. Everyone’s need is different. I can’t teach the same self defense techniques I use to a girl who weighs around 120 lbs and laments the facts that she can lose more weight.
One of person I was training lost 25 kilos in 4 weeks. That’s over 50 pounds… Doctors will have hard time understanding it or believing it. But not every can put 4 hrs a day in Intense workouts like him. He was heavy, but he was a beast… I can never calculate that kind of thing.
Do you think I can give this workout routine to everyone who needs to lose 50 pounds? Nope. They’ll die in one session…
Marketing or putting up a business in very much same.
There are too many variables… So What to do?
If you ask 10 different guru to give their best system, you’ll get completely 10 different answers. For example, Once in copywritersboard.com someone asked “how he can make 1000 in a month”.
One of the answer given in the forums was something like this…
1. Find a product with bad copy.
2. Write a copy for that product.
3. Bring traffics to your sales pitch (and use directlink to the payout page, You can do that in clickbank. Skip the whole sales page thing if you know how) and generate affiliate commission.
Now This is a very sound method. Get my 2 thumbs up but how good this method might be for an average Internet Marketing Newbie…. Now you are only limited by your copywriting skills (and traffic generation skills).
Here’s a basic system that everyone will agree on…
1. Find a Market
2. Create(or find) a product and sell it…
3. Repeat 1 & 2 Until you squeeze the juice out of the list and then find another market.
From my understanding you always keep this in mind. Read, study as many resources you can. Make some changes and notice your results. If you get positive results. Implement them massively and get rid of bad results. This is the basic system of building your own system that you can duplicate over and over again.
Absorb What is useful, Neglect what’s not… - That was Bruce lee’s ideal of creating JeetKune-do.
Always keep an eye on your goal and decide if your action will lead to you goal or stray you from the path. Don’t fall in love with system or method or even with your business. Its easy to fall in love, I know. But Don’t.
Someone said this “If you want to succeed, Fail faster”. Now if you fail because of the same reason again and again, then its utter stupidity. No matter how much effort you’ll put, you won’t get results.
So Here’s your new quote : “If You Want To Succeed, Fail Faster & Smarter”.

Why I am asking you to gather all these article? Well don’t worry right now… I’ll tell you about this tomorrow. Trust me you’ll love this strategy.

I get so many emails and some phone calls too about how people are stuck, these guys(and gals) are down with zero hope. If you ever emailed me, then you know I respond quite positively to these kinds of emails (Well I respond positively to all of my emails ).
This is something that has been bugging me from quite a while. I think I stated this even in my 30 days to Your Internet Business at http://www.imbasics.com . If you don’t expect yourself to succeed, you’ll not.
Everyone reading this can succeed online! I can say that with 100% confidence. There is room for everyone online.

It’s Kind of ironic. When you want to become wealthy, you have to feel wealthy and think like wealthy people. That’s why Napoleon Hill in his Famous Book “Think and Grow Rich” talked about the power of mastermind.
Napoleon Hill made a BIG MISTAKE. You see his book can be called as bible for self improvement, but he made a mistake. It’s very silly mistake but the effect was tremendous. and I believe this was the reason why so many people who read his book doesn’t succeed.
You know what that is?
Let me tell you, His book is called “Think and Grow Rich”. One of the most successful books, its still selling like hot cakes. Right? Now here lies the problem. The title of the book “Think and Grow Rich” which basically make people believe, if they can think, they’ll grow rich.
Are you getting me? Same way for this cult-ish movie “The Secret”. It again makes you believe that “If you can Think, You’ll grow abundant”. Again Same thing. I can bet, if you all you do is think and do nothing… You’ll never succeed.
If you want to succeed, Believe in yourself, Expect to succeed, Align yourself with Winners (mastermind group) and TAKE MASSIVE ACTION. Yes, Work on it.. That’s my advice for you…
