Did you get stumbled?

Yesterday this blog got stumbled and tons of traffic came through stumbleupon.com.

In just a few hours, stumbleupon bought 1000+ visitors to my website. With bounce rate of 23.46%. Interesting isn’t it?

My first thought was “Wow, tons of traffic, awesome”… but then I start wondering how much of this is good traffic aka targeted traffic.

How much it’ll effect my blog?

I talked to few guys who got dugg, stumbled and few other phenomenons like that… according to them it feels good by getting traffic like that… good ego boost. But unless its really targeted, the traffic is not of much value.

According to others stumbleupon traffic has low bounce rate (mine was around 24%) , StumbleUpon users tend to hang around on your site a lot longer, read more posts.

So far I can’t say how much subscribers increment I got (my feed doesn’t update real time, so I have to wait for 24 hrs to know the results).

So Did you ever got stumbled?

If you so, then share your stories, experience…
