How to create knock out products and charge High Prices?
If you have been following my blog, then you know the easiest way to make an income online is by creating your own product. So today, in this post I am going to talk about few important things you should remember while creating your own products.
Start Small -> You might be surprised how many people start with a plan of 300 pages of book, few audios and may be some complementary videos. Arghh….
My first product for 20 page ebook (actually it was 17 page content plus 3 page of index, copyright and title page). It took me few hours to write and edit the product.
I was nervous when I started promoting about the response. People who bought absolutely loved it and I received compliments and testimonials from all over the world (including few of top name guru’s).
Create a 20 page ebook this week and start selling it. Soon you’ll want to add more content, in couple of months, that same 20 page ebook will turn out into 100+ pages, few audios and video product.
More products you have, better your product catalog will be and you’ll be able to charge higher price. Now this rule is not written in stone. You can always break rules.
But understand, as you start creating small, your confidence will grow and you’ll be soon creating high priced products.
How to charge High prices -> There are simple 2 ways to charge high price.
1. Find a completely new way to do things and charge High price for the information. Now this doesn’t happen very often with information products. The moment you publish an info product, you’ll find few copy cats selling the same darn thing.
The simplest example can be taken from softwares which does specific functions. For example, currently there are membership sites which submit your articles, audio, videos all over the web automatically. And they charge good money for these memberships.
They give you either buy their service or do it yourself options. That’s it.
2. You compile a product with a Audio, Video, Bookset etc and it’ll automatically increase the price point. Have you ever noticed how marketers who have 1000 dollar products carry 20 DVD’s few book cases weighing 10–20 pounds? The weight is there for a reason.
High price is about confidence -> You might be surprised with this statement, but it’s very much true. If you have confidence in your products (and your marketing skills), you’ll have no problem with asking for high price.
