Every week, hundreds if not thousands of online business owners launch new products, yet, only a small minority of them make any profit, never mind survive the year. Before discussing this, I want you to know that this will not make you rich overnight.
I know you must have received tons of emails from marketers selling all kind of super expensive stuff. It seems like these days you can’t fill up their greeds without spending $1000 every week. I think its about time you should use these strategies to make some of it back.
We’ll begin planning at least 4 weeks ahead. Mainly because the first two weeks consist of planning, checking, planning and checking again and again to make sure everything is perfectly in place.
Gathering of Resources
Affiliate System : There is only one single thing that I’d suggest you purchase that will cost you anything, and that’s an affiliate system, as this forms a large part of your promotion. There are quite a few affiliate systems out there. Either you can set up your own system or use something like clickbank, paydotcom, 2checkout, 1shoppingcart. etc. The choices are unlimited.
Offer: Next important piece is called offer. This is the offer than you’ll be presenting your JV. Think of all the reasons why they should promote you. When you write a letter, give them a reason to promote you. Good commission, some added material etc.. There are many ways you can create powerful offers.
Promotional materials: You also need some promotional material which you’ll provide to your JV partner. They can be in many forms, articles, reports, audios, videos, scripts etc etc. The idea is to provide enough reasons and methods for others to promote you.
BackEnd: Think of good backend. I don’t think you have much chances of coming up with $1000 product tomorrow. But keep an eye on big end product that you can sell in future. Why I am suggesting this? Think like this, If you are just going in with 1 product. You’ll make some money right now… and then what’ll you do?
Moreover if you have backend in your plans, you can always give your joint venture partners good commission and make money on backend. Think big.
Setting up follow up emails:
You’ll be writing 2 types of emails: First You’ll write emails for your Joint venture partner. Where you’ll remind him/her of upcoming schedule of your product launch. Second you’ll be reminding and following up on your list of people who didn’t bought from you in the first place.
Coming to think of it, you also need pre-written emails for your partner to promote your products.
Of course, there are tons of subtleties in all of this. But they can’t be summed up in just one article. I’ll come back to this topic some other time and discuss some neat stuff.

I have to say, that I could not agree with you in 100% regarding How to Launch a product?, but it’s just my opinion, which could be wrong
No worries, Daniel. We always agree to disagree. My post is more of generalized idea of how to go about it.
Here are the few things you can always leave out.
Affiliate manager.
Joint ventures.
But you still need to have a Darn good offer, a Back end (preferably of higher price tag) and written advertising material like ppc ads, email ads and follow up and sales letter.
